Objectives

To use the functional patient measurements before and after surgery performed in Work Package 5, in order to quantify the real surgical effect on the functionality of the patient. The musculo-skeletal model can also calculate this effect, but is probably not accurate as it does not include the adaptive capacity of the patient. The difference in actual measurements and model predictions is used to implement a corrective optimization criterion in the musculo-skeletal model that accounts for the adaptive capacity.
